I don’t know about the rest of you, but I take great pleasure in watching the left self destruct.
The Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia last year revealed to the world that the Democratic Party is in tatters. The old guard Democrats are battling with the younger “Bernie-crats”, who want to see the establishment politicians removed and the Party moved even further to the left.
One thing that seems to unite the left however is their shared hatred for the President. Yet there are some who are finally beginning to recognize that the President is a force to be reckoned with.
Former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg once called Trump a “dangerous demagogue”, but has now begun changing his tune, and he has some scathing things to say about the candidate he endorsed in 2016.
From The Hill:
“Hillary said, ‘Vote for me because I’m a woman and the other guy’s bad,’” Bloomberg said about 2016.
He said Democrats are still looking for issues and messages. And he worries that too many Democrats are eager to jump into the 2020 race.
“They’ll step on each other and re-elect Donald Trump,” Bloomberg said.
Bloomberg went on to say that he thinks there’s a “55 percent chance” that President Trump will win reelection in 2020 due to the Democrats continued civil war within their ranks.
He said that the left are failing to articulate an effective message and that they are too divided on the direction the Party should take.
Bloomberg’s criticisms are spot on. Americans, and particularly the middle class, are tired of the left’s arrogant elitists. Under Democratic leadership, we have been forced to pay for policies that prioritize foreign countries, illegal aliens and criminals over us.
The issues of trade, border security and law and order are very real. And the Democrats not only have no answers; they are actively undermining the American Middle Class on those policies.
Bring on Trump 2020!
