Liberals are supposed to be the “smart” ones. So why can’t they figure out how to secure their email servers yet? Is it stupidity, or arrogance? Regardless, thanks to their incompetence, WikiLeaks has been able to release thousands of hacked emails that will do further damage to Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Clinton campaign manager John Podesta’s email server has proven to be a treasure trove of embarrassment. In an ironic twist, one series of emails relates to Hillary’s own emails, those subpoenaed by investigators.
Peter Hasson reports for the Daily Caller:
A March, 2015 email chain shows three Clinton staffers discussing a House subpoena of Mrs. Clinton’s emails. The conversation took place roughly three weeks before a Clinton aide used software called “Bleachbit” to wipe her server clean.
“Not as flippantly, and maybe just from Nick’s mouth — but rather than going around and around on how to release the 55k, let’s just be for what’s happening and use this as the excuse,” Philippe Reines said.
“Because we can say even if State has equities, not providing them would put her in legal jeopardy. OR, we say happy for them to have it, happy for the public to read them as soon as State is comfortable. But let’s somehow take advantage of this.”
Is it really possible to trust Hillary Clinton if everyone who works for her seems to be in a constant panic about her internal communications? They can’t be concerned about “national security,” since obviously the Secretary of State herself wasn’t either.
The overall impression from these and other WikiLeaks revelations is of a sleazy operation at the heart of the federal government.
Wasn’t that what Watergate was all about? And yet, Hillary isn’t being held to the same standards.
