The mainstream media has been setting Hillary’s numbers far higher than most predicted during August, while other polls like L.A. Times and Reuters are actually showing Trump with a lead.
So CNN’s poll is literally shaking up the race today.
Hillary has held a significant edge against Trump in the CNN polls, which is not surprising as it is often dubbed the “Clinton News Network.” They are basically a campaign arm for the Clintons.
Things must be bad then. CNN reports their new numbers:
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton start the race to November 8 on essentially even ground, with Trump edging Clinton by a scant two points among likely voters, and the contest sparking sharp divisions along demographic lines in a new CNN/ORC Poll.
Trump tops Clinton 45% to 43% in the new survey, with Libertarian Gary Johnson standing at 7% among likely voters in this poll and the Green Party’s Jill Stein at just 2%.
A majority of Clinton’s supporters say they’re less excited about voting this year than usual (55%) while most of Trump’s backers say they’re more excited this time around (56%).
That could be contributing to Trump’s slim advantage among likely voters. Among the broader pool of registered voters, Clinton edges Trump by 3 points.
They tried to spin this as essentially even, but basically they should say that as hard as they tried to help Crooked Hillary, Trump is still up. Even though she has outspent him 10 to 1 so far, Trump is on top, and now it is showing up in mainstream polls as well. This poll is making waves, and it should be.
For the cherry on top: watch as Hillary responds to these new numbers.
