Those **WOW** moments never seem to stop coming when it has to do with the investigation into Democrat presidential candidate, Hillary Clinton’s, email scandals.
Just when you think it’s over and done with, some new development pops up and broadsides us in the face.
This time it involves, Undersecretary of State, Patrick Kennedy pushing the FBI to declassify emails in exchange for a “quid pro quo” deal.
House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes both agreed that just the discussion of the declassifying of classified emails in exchange for a bribe was a criminal offense.
The Daily Caller expounded on Chaffetz’s remarks:
“Undoubtedly there will be, based on the documents the FBI released today there are new facts that need to be investigated. I’m very concerned about the quid pro quo that was in negotiation between the State Department and the FBI,” Chaffetz told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “Chairman Nunes and I believe Patrick Kennedy should be relieved of his duties immediately pending an investigation. This is a manipulation if not an outright crime and so we’re gonna drive into that.”
A “quid pro quo” in this case is a deal made to return a favor down the road (like a bribe) for declassifying emails that were previously classified.
Supposedly, the ‘quid pro quo’ deal never materialized but Chaffetz and Nunes are determined to discover the extent of those involved in the intended arrangement and prosecute them.
“Those who receive classified intelligence should not barter in it – that is reckless behavior with our nation’s secrets,” said Chaffetz and Nunes. “Someone who would try to get classification markings doctored should not continue serving in the State Department or retain access to classified information. Therefore, President Obama and Secretary Kerry should immediately remove Under Secretary Kennedy pending a full investigation.”
FBI Director James Comey called Clinton’s use of a private email server “extremely careless,” he stated he recommended no charges be made against the presidential hopeful.
“I want to get to the truth, and I want people to be held accountable I don’t think that’s asking too much,” Chaffetz told TheDCNF.
It is unconscionable that someone in the Obama State Department tried to negotiate a deal, on Hillary’s behalf, to get classified documents declassified to make her indiscretions seem less serious.
It is going to take someone with dogged determination like Jason Chaffetz, Devin Nunes and Donald Trump to clear out all the corruption in the stinking swamp we call the US federal government and it is up to us to see that they get their chance!
Under Hillary, we have no chance! We can’t let that happen!
