While the left present a false front of unity in their support of Hillary Clinton, conservatives have always been the party of free thinkers.
You can be a conservative and disagree with other conservatives. You can vote Republican, while criticizing the actions of a republican politician.
This open dialogue has allowed many Americans to voice their ideals, put forward important issues, and help the country grow and adapt to a changing world.
Compare that to the other side, which attacks and tears down even their own if they deviate from the party line. There is no freedom among liberals. You either agree to their demands or be destroyed.
Even long time democrat Bernie Sanders was destroyed by the DNC, for daring to oppose their poster child, Hillary Clinton.
So it comes as no surprise that a long time conservative like Mark Levin has voiced concerns over GOP candidate Donald Trump. On his radio show he has been outspoken about his opinion of the candidate since day one.
Yet despite being free to share his thoughts, without fear of being destroyed by his party, he goes on to do something shocking and amazing.
From Conservative Review:
Mark Levin made the big announcement Tuesday night on his radio show after methodically walking listeners through his rationale.
At the beginning of the program, Levin made sure his real feelings were known. It was no secret that Levin’s first choice was not and is not Donald Trump. In fact, he boldly declared Tuesday that despite Trump’s holding some conservative policies, “Donald Trump is not a conservative … and he’s not reliable.”
Levin reiterated his position that Sen. Ted Cruz would’ve been a far better choice to champion conservative principles as president.
But that’s not what happened and … “at the end of the day, someone is going to be president.”
Although a Ted Cruz supporter, Levin ended his show by announcing he was going to vote for Donald Trump. Levin, with a history of working in the Reagan administration, certainly has strong conservative values. It makes sense that he would have reservations about Trump as a candidate.
And as such, he was able to voice those concerns on his show, without fear of a conservative backlash.
Now think about it this way: if a popular liberal host listed the many flaws of Hillary Clinton, would he still have a career at the end of the day?
Of course not. The powers that be in the liberal media would make sure he was destroyed. It’s happening right now with Dr. Drew. He had the audacity to list Hillary’s health problems; now CNN is taking his show away.
There’s never been a clearer picture of the differences between the two parties. One believes in liberty and freedom for all: the freedom to speak your mind and have differing opinions. The other believes in bullying, collusions, and downright mobster-like tactics to keep their people in line.
Which party do you want to be a part of?
