We’ve already heard the amazing news that Carrier and Ford have cancelled plans to take manufacturing elsewhere after Donald Trump won the presidential election.
And of course, there was the record breaking stock market performance not long afterward.
Now the latest figures show that along with a spike in consumer confidence, businesses have also decided to go on a hiring spree:
Companies across the U.S significantly increased hiring levels in the month of November following Donald Trump’s election, a new report from the payroll processor ADP revealed.
During November, approximately 216,000 people were hired, particularly in the retail sector, in the biggest recruitment drive since June of this year. (…)
The numbers have significantly exceeded original expectations, with economists polled by the Wall Street Journal predicting 170,000 new jobs in the month of November.
Trump hasn’t even taken the oath of office and he’s already making America great again!
