Everybody knows the Obama administration has been lax on border control, to say the least.
And in fact, it’s no real news that Obama has actually gone out of his way to invite illegals to come and stay in America, vowing to press through amnesty provisions over the objections of the public and Congress by his use of executive orders and actions. The courts have weighed in and scaled back some of his usurpations on this point.
But now, there’s a new means Obama’s using to let in the illegals.
“A new report suggests that illegal immigrants crossing the United States border will be released into the country – sometimes for years at a time – as long as they use what are described as ‘magic words’ upon being caught,” Political Insider reported.
And just what are those so-called magic words?
Well, a 2009 policy change in the Obama administration let illegals stay in the country, and roam among members of the public, if the said they were afraid to go home.
The policy switch was this: Previously, illegals expressing fear of returning to their countries of home were placed in detention centers while border officials verified their claims.
“Officials say the claims of fear predominantly turn out to be false, but the illegal immigrants have been ‘coached’ to exploit this loophole,” Political Insider reported.
Meanwhile, the percentage of illegals seeking asylum based on fears of returning home has jumped from 1 percent in 2009 to nearly 10 percent this past year.
As one border agent said, according to Political Insider: “They are being told if they come across the border, when they come up to the border and they say certain words, they will be allowed into the country. We are being overwhelmed.”
