The problem of voter fraud has been ongoing through at least the last two presidential elections and who knows how widespread it may be and how far back in time it goes? It could possibly even affect congressional elections, as well.
So far, it seems to be limited to the Democrat party as it has shown up with deceased individuals voting for Democrat candidates such as Barack Obama in the last two presidential elections and appears to be making another go-round as voter registration fraud has been discovered prior to the upcoming presidential election in which Hillary Clinton is the party’s first choice.
This time, voter registration fraud is suspected in nine counties in Indiana. The Indiana State Police are conducting investigations in Marion, Allen, Delaware, Hamilton, Hancock, Johnson, Lake and Madison counties.
From the Indy Star:
The possible fraudulent information is a combination of fake names, addresses and dates of birth with real information.
As part of the expanded investigation, State Police detectives served a search warrant for the business offices of the Indiana Voter Registration Project in the 2400 block of North Meridian Street.
The search warrant was served Tuesday morning, police said. The results of the search are not being released, and the affidavit and search warrant will remain sealed for 30 days.
“An investigation of this nature is complex, time consuming and is expected to continue for several more weeks or months,” said a State Police statement. “Victims of the activities by some agents of the Indiana Voter Registration Project may not discover they have been disenfranchised from voting until they go to vote and realize their voting information has been altered. Such action may result in the citizen having to cast a provisional ballot.”
Officials said a representative sample of voter registration applications received by county voter registration offices and suspected of being fraudulent have been copied and provided to investigators. The original applications are maintained by the appropriate voter registration office.
The fact that voter registration fraud is even an issue says much about the electoral system in America. It tells us that there are many dishonest people who are willing to override the will and choice of the people in order to win fraudulently steal elections.
It also tells us the whole system needs to be revamped with safeguards put in place to make sure voting fraud can’t occur at all. As long as there are those who are willing to be that corrupt we, the voters, will have to stay watchful against it.
If America is to remain a free country, elections MUST be kept fair and above board. Otherwise, there’s no point in voting. Let’s put pressure on our representatives to get some action on this. The cheaters need to be prosecuted so the rest of us can trust the results of our elections.
