If you need any proof that the Democrats are against American citizens, here it is. You may still be on the fence with your support. You may think that yes, the Democrats have questionable politics, but they still care about Americans, right? They wouldn’t openly support a man who murdered over 50 gay Americans at a night club, right?
Sadly, you’d be wrong. Because at a recent rally for Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, in attendance was the father of Oman Mateen, the ISIS-inspired terrorists that killed 50 people in Orlando, FL. Seddique Mateen, whose radical Islamic faith inspired his son’s killing spree, should be openly apologizing to the American public. He should refrain from making public appearances, letting the country heal from what his son did.
Instead he appeared at a rally. This is like having Lee Harvey Oswald’s father at a rally. This is like having the family of Osama Bin Laden at a rally. How could the Democrats allow such a dark figure at their event?
If you think this is tantamount to endorsing what Oman did, you’d be right.
Make no mistake, the Democrats wanted the man there. Hillary Clinton is officially showing her support for radical Islamic terrorism and the murder of gay Americans.
On Tuesday’s broadcast of “CNN Newsroom,” CNN Senior Washington Correspondent Jeff Zeleny stated that Seddique Mateen, the father of the perpetrator of the terrorist attack on the Pulse nightclub told another reporter that he was “invited” to the rally held by Democratic presidential nominee former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that he attended, that the Clinton campaign isn’t disavowing Mateen’s support, and that while the campaign claims they didn’t know Mateen was at the rally or onstage, “people are picked to sit behind candidates for part of the backdrop, and certainly he did become part of the backdrop.”
Zeleny said, “[T]here were some 3,000 people there, so I didn’t spot him, but a Florida reporter spotted him, who has seen him in the news, and certainly talked to him, and so they went up and talked to him afterward as he drove back down to his home in south Florida. And he said, look, I support Hillary Clinton, and I was invited to this rally, because I am a Democrat.”
Are the Democrats that stupid? Did not one person organizing the rally say, “Hey, maybe we shouldn’t invite the father of a recent mass murderer to our rally.” How could they be that ignorant?
Don’t worry, they’re not that ignorant. Clearly Hillary and her people want to appear open and supportive of all peoples, regardless of their backgrounds or religions. But instead of inviting peaceful, respectable Muslims to their rally, they invite a man who raised a killer.
Openness and love won’t protect our families from terrorism. Taking a strong stance against radical Islamic terror will. Seddique Mateen should not be appearing at public events. Surely the Democrats should be holding this man accountable for his son’s actions.
It’s clear that the Democrats are soft on terrorism, as they’ve always been. They don’t have the best interests at heart for Americans, gay, straight or otherwise. And should Hillary be elected, more terrorists attacks will happen on US soil.
And she will do nothing to stop them.
