Hold the phone; there’s another scandal hitting hard at the Hillary Clinton camp. What is it this time?
The latest development takes a look at the Clinton campaign’s relationship with top tier agency chiefs, like Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik. Kadzik is a good friend of John Podesta, Clinton’s campaign chairman.
Now, as the Daily Caller reported, Congress is getting interested in all these close ties.
The news outlet wrote: “The chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee is asking the Department of Justice’s inspector general to investigate the Clinton campaign’s relationship with top agency officials.”
Ruh-roh. Could this be yet another investigation to shadow Clinton as she heads into her final stretch of the presidential race?
Sen. Charles Grassley criticized the Justice Department for failing to keep a cover on the conflicts of interest.
Here’s one example that Congress wants to know about: Why was the same FBI deputy director whose wife received up to $675,000 in political donations from a Clinton operative put in charge of the investigation of Clinton’s email scandal?
Inquiring minds want to know – and this time, the minds belong to many in Congress.
“As you can clearly see,” Allen B. West wrote, “Hillary and her people have taken the art of political corruption to never-before-seen levels, solidifying her crown as one of the most corrupt politicians of our time. The only place Clinton belongs is in a jail cell.”
