Normally we wouldn’t care what convicted criminals think because in most places they are forbidden from voting. Voting is, after all, a privileged, not a right and when you societies rules and do violence to your fellow man, you lose that privilege.
But more and more, states are restoring voting rights to felons. That makes them a new potential source of votes!
So which party is moving to take advantage of this new class of voters?
If you’ve ever heard the meme “birds of a feather flock together” then you know where this story is going.
Democrats seem to like to cater to the jailbird crowd because well, they just have an affinity towards one another. The “down and outers” of society get a lot of special treatment because they represent a substantial voting bloc for the Liberal left and if Democrats can’t get their votes from zombie land then the prison dregs will have to do.
There’s a new study that shows how felons are most likely to vote in elections and here’s how the numbers play out:
Professors from the University of Pennsylvania and Stanford University, found that in some states, felons register Democratic by more than six-to-one. In New York, for example, 61.5 percent of convicts are Democrats, just 9 percent Republican. They also cited… that 73 percent of convicts who turn out for Presidential elections would vote Democrat.
The study looked at three states which are reminding convicts that they can vote after leaving jail: New York, New Mexico and North Carolina.
- New York: 61.5 percent register Democratic, 9 percent register Republican
- New Mexico: 51.9 percent Democratic, 10.2 percent Republican
- North Carolina: 54.6 percent Democratic, 10.2 percent Republican
Democrats are all about helping people who are needing public assistance and they are only too happy to accommodate these criminals as long as they stay in the Liberal camp. That means voting for Democrats. Once they stray off the Liberal path the goody fountain dries up. Democrats don’t want criminals to succeed in life. they want them dependent and easily controlled. Forever!
