Doesn’t matter what GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump says about an issue, the liberal left will attack it. Although he’s offered some very pragmatic–albeit bold–solutions to America’s problems, liberals deride him as out of touch, racist, and at worst dangerous for the world.
But what will they say when someone else, someone arguably more influential, has the same opinion?
Recently the spiritual leader of Buddhism, the Dalai Lama, spoke about the refugee crisis in Europe and around the world. Guess what he had to say?
How brave, wonderful and brilliant of the Dalai Lama to have admitted in a newspaper interview that Europe has too many refugees.
Although Donald Trump has been reiterating this for months, echoing the voices of many European citizens, it takes the leader of an Asian nation to make headlines. He explained his opinion on the matter, offering some much needed common sense regarding the issue.
“Europe, for example Germany, cannot become an Arab country,” he added with a laugh, the daily reported. “Germany is Germany.
Hmm, seems like the lauded humanitarian understands the danger of shoving millions of foreigners into a new country. He went on to say that these refugees should only stay temporarily and need to rebuild the countries they left.
The Dalai Lama added that “from a moral point of view too, I think that the refugees should only be admitted temporarily”.
“The goal should be that they return and help rebuild their countries.”
These are views many on the right have been saying for a long time, but the liberal world has rejected them. It seems like the bleeding hearts want to help those they view as weak, forgetting the long term danger it might cause.
At least the Dalai Lama on the side of intelligence. Maybe he will change a few people’s opinion.
