The revelation that legendary film producer Harvey Weinstein sexually assaulted numerous women is still making waves across the country. Now more shocking news is coming out. It turns out he was not the only influential Hollywood mover and shaker who harassed actresses.
More details have emerged about Weinstein. It seems like–while more people in the industry come out to condemn him–it was wildly known for years that he did this to women. It was practically a joke among people in Hollywood that, if you wanted to star in a Weinstein film, you were going to put up with his advances.
It’s sickening to think that so-called progressives would look the other way when a powerful man abused women. All their virtue-signaling over feminism and women’s rights means nothing, in light of what we now know. They were complicit in this man–and others–taking advantage of women.
Now another notable Hollywood personality is being accused of harassing women. This actor has a close connection to Weinstein. Seems like the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Hollywood’s greatest fear is now coming true. The Daily Mail reports that Harvey Weinstein protégé Ben Affleck is facing the accusation that he groped actress Hilarie Burton in 2003 when she was just 21 years-old…
Hilarie Burton claims she was groped by Ben Affleck during his appearance on TRL in 2003.
The former host of the show made the shocking allegations on Tuesday night, just hours after Affleck made a statement condemning Harvey Weinstein’s alleged abusive actions in his sexual assault and harassment scandal…
Actress Rose McGowan is also publicly attacking Affleck as a liar over his statement Tuesday where he appeared to claim that Weinstein’s behavior was something he was unaware of until now.
@benaffleck “GODDAMNIT! I TOLD HIM TO STOP DOING THAT” you said that to my face. The press conf I was made to go to after assault. You lie.

Only a few days ago did Affleck publicly comment on Weinstein’s exposed behavior. But he did so in an odd fashion, refusing to name the man.
After five days of scandal, Ben Affleck — a lifelong Democrat — has apparently come out to condemn embattled Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein. I say “apparently,” because Affleck does not name the mogul who made him a star in 1997 with Good Will Hunting:

Some people wondered why it took him so long to produce a response. The almost cryptic style of the message has led people to wonder: just what did he know about Weinstein’s behavior?
Now we are learning that perhaps Affleck refused to comment early on, because he was just as guilty as Harvey.
The revelations coming out now are proving just what kind of industry Hollywood is. For years they’ve pretend to be open-minded, progressive, and champions of women and minorities. But the truth is much different. Men in Hollywood have abused their power and position to take advantage of women. Worse still, many people–both men and women–appear to have known about it, but kept silent.
So far, Affleck has not responded to the new allegations from both Burton and McGowan. But the news is spreading fast. He won’t be able to stay silent for long.
