Fox News watchers may have noticed a missing voice on the popular “Outnumbered” daily news discussion show – Harris Faulkner.
So where has she been of late?
It’s been weeks since we’ve seen her on the late afternoon segment. And now we know the reason why.
But as the Independent Journal Review reported: “[She’s been] absent from the network, and for a heartbreaking reason.”
Her mother, it seems, has been suffering from cancer for some time. And just recently, she lost the fight.
“Absent from #FoxNews for a bit,” Faulkner wrote, in a Facebook post beneath a picture of herself as young girl, in her mother’s arms. “Mom has died, lung cancer. We were inseparable. She even held toddler me in her 1970s passport pic. #Love #Dallas. On this #thanksgiving day we prepare for her funeral and I thank The Lord for her.”
Faulkner returned to Texas to bid her mother goodbye, and then came back on “Fox News Sunday” to honor her mother on television, in an emotional segment.
“She honored her mother’s memory and offered her heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of support she’s received from colleagues and viewers alike,” IJR reported.
