You have seen the headlines all this week. Apparently the liberal media want you to believe Hillary Clinton “made history.” They want you to think she is the first woman to be nominated for president.
That would be an amazing headline, if it were true.
The reality is Hillary and her cronies in the media love to flat out lie. They don’t care about little things like facts getting in the way of their agenda. I mean, she hid her emails from the U.S. government! Of course she’s going to try to pull one over on the entire population.
The truth is, there was a woman who ran for president over a century before Crooked Hillary. And she was a better example for women’s rights than Clinton ever will be.
From Proud Conservatives:
In 1872, Victoria Claflin Woodhull, who later became Victoria Woodhull Martin (September 23, 1838 – June 9, 1927) was the first female to run for President of the United States and the first woman to be nominated by a political party.
Woodhull was an activist for women’s rights LONG before the world ever learned about a corrupt politician named Hillary Clinton. Woodhull was a “free love” advocate, which meant she believed in the right to choose marriage, divorce, and having children without government overreach into the lives of Americans.
This is why your school teachers wanted you to know your history. If not, anyone can come along and outright lie to you about what’s going in on the world. Hillary is not the first woman nominated for president. She’s not the first candidate to fight for women’s rights. She’s not even honest about how she conducted herself as secretary of state.
Why should we trust her to be president?
Spread the word about Woodhull. An American pioneer like that deserves to be remembered.
