OK, Hillary Clinton: File this under “Be Careful What You Wish For.”
Because thanks to the blog, the Proud Conservative, you definitely, decidedly did get it.
Here’s the skinny: “Hillary Clinton stood before millions of Americans last night and told numerous lies, then said things like ‘Google it,’ suggesting we fact check her … so we did and found six major lies, plus others.”
Here’s a quick run-down of her deceptions, from the stage.
Number One: Clinton said Planned Parenthood is a cancer screening provider, and thus, deserving of federal funds. But as the Washington Post reported in 2015, “the group does not ‘provide’ mammograms. Rather, the situation is similar to other clinics where patients are referred to a licensed facility that can provide biopsies.”
Number Two: Clinton said, with a straight face, no less, that she supports the Second Amendment – yet she stands steadfastly in the camp of opposition against a clear-cut case that underscores the rights of gun owners.
Number Three: Clinton vowed no new debt, if elected as president. But really: How can that be, with all her entitlement programs? As Proud Conservative noted: “The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget predicts that under Clinton’s policies, the debt would increase by $9 trillion over a decade.”
Number Four: Clinton said 33,000 people die from guns each year – a number that’s actually 66 percent higher than what facts find.
Number Five: Clinton said President Obama’s cut the deficit by two-thirds – a laughable remark that flies in the face of truth. And what is the truth? As Brietbart reported a few months ago, Obama’s actually doubled the national debt.
And Number Six: Clinton said the Clinton Foundation spends 90 percent of money donated to it to help people around the world and in America. yet Peter Schweizer, president of the Government Accountability Institute, said the Clinton Foundation’s actually spent far, far less – at times, even only giving six percent of total income for charitable works.
Would you like any more fact-checking, Mrs. Clinton?
Or is that quite enough for one day?
“So there you have it folks,” Proud Conservative wrote. “It was hard to narrow it down to just six, but these were among the biggest lies of the night.”
