To say that president Obama has had a very lax attitude about America’s security would be a gross understatement. Indeed, it seems, most of the leaders of western nations have been extremely foolish in the way they have opened their borders to unvetted immigrants bringing disease, crime and social unrest with them.
In the wake of the violence caused by what can only be described as a foreign invasion force, many of the west’s leaders are rethinking their open borders policies and considering closing them off until they can get a handle on the virtual tidal wave of refugees surging into their countries.
Here in America though, our leaders have not yet learned that lesson since the violence hasn’t reached the levels they are experiencing in European countries. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has inserted itself into the upcoming elections by “approving as many citizenship applications as it can to try to increase the number of voters.” -For Hillary, of course!
As reported by WND:
It comes amid a DHS inspector general report that U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) erroneously granted citizenship to at least 858 illegal immigrants from “special interest countries,” meaning countries with connections to terrorism, who had previously been ordered deported. It was later revealed the number was actually more than 1,800 aliens.
And according to the DHS report:
The mistake was made because of incomplete fingerprint records: Neither the digital fingerprint repository at DHS nor the one at the FBI contains all of the old fingerprint records of people previously deported.
The report stated further:
In DHS’s case, paper-based fingerprint cards used prior to 2008 were not consistently digitized and uploaded to the new repository. Also, in the past, fingerprints collected during immigration enforcement encounters were not always forwarded to the FBI, which explains why the bureau also doesn’t have all of them.
In all, the IG report said, about 148,000 fingerprint records of aliens from special interest countries who had deportation orders or who are criminals or fugitives have yet to be digitized.
The incomplete fingerprint repositories mean that USCIS could naturalize even more ineligible or fraudulent individuals in the future. These fraudulent citizens would then have the right to obtain a security clearance, serve in law enforcement and vote, among other things.
At this point, we have to ask if the DHS is even competent enough to assume the task of vetting each other, much less foreign immigrants with possible ties to terrorism or criminal organizations. It would be better to abolish the DHS and start over.
America cannot afford any more incompetent people making stupid mistakes like this because the consequences to American lives and national security IS JUST TOO IMPORTANT to leave in the hands of irresponsible individuals. There is also the possibility that this ‘mistake’ was actually intentional and THAT opens up a whole new can of worms! We will look forward to a new Trump administration making some changes for the better….And maybe see some liberal heads rolling over this, metaphorically speaking, of course!
