Illegal immigrants have long tried to claim that they give more to the system than what they receive.
They state that they work the jobs that Americans don’t want. They complain that perceptions of them depict them as some sort of welfare leeches when they pay their taxes and don’t take a lot of money from government assistance programs.
While the majority of Americans can see this for the nonsense it is, there are those that continue to push this false narrative, while our country continues to suffer as a result.
Take self-admitted undocumented immigrant Belén Sisa. She recently made a Facebook post claiming she has been denied her benefits from the government because her liberal compatriots have constantly told her she is entitled to them.
She assumes she is guaranteed a right to free programs, exclaiming she is paying her fair share into the system, even though people like her constantly abuse our system.
See for yourself below.
“MYTH BUSTER: I, an undocumented immigrant, just filed my taxes and PAID $300 to the state of Arizona.
I cannot receive financial aid from the state or federal government for school, I cannot benefit from unemployment, a reduced healthcare plan, or a retirement fund.
I think I’m a pretty good citizen.
Oh and there are MILLIONS just like me who pay into a system they will never receive anything from.
Wanna tell me again how I should be deported, contribute nothing and only leech off this country while the 1% wealthiest people in this country steal from you everyday? How about you show me yours Donald J. Trump? #HereToStay”
If you’re really “#HereToStay”, maybe don’t make a Facebook post bragging that you’re here illegally? In any case, Miss Sisa’s statements are now being heavily scrutinized by the online community.
From Independent Journal Review:
There are suggestions that it’s a hoax of some sort.
For starters, after claiming to have paid $300 to the state of Arizona and holding up the tax form as “proof,” it’s been pointed out that the form she’s holding is a federal tax form, not a state one.
Other problems with the post include the fact that the form is blank. Sisa stated in a subsequent post that she did this to protect her personal information. So essentially she has no proof to back up her claim of paying taxes.
In addition, Sisa claims she’s being denied rights, such as a driver’s license, yet she is shown in the picture in the driver’s seat of a car. This is a crime. If you don’t have a license, you aren’t able to purchase insurance. It’s also a crime to drive without insurance.
If Sisa is truly undocumented, how was she able to pay taxes? She likely has a falsified social security card, which is a felony, in addition to being undocumented, which is yet another crime.
Perhaps most problematic of all is her proclamation that she has no problems with paying taxes and considers herself to be a “good citizen”…yet somehow can’t be bothered to go through the process to become a legal citizen.
If you really want to be treated like an American, go through the process to be here legally.
Why is this so difficult a concept to grasp?
