Give the liberals one thing: they are fighters. And clearly they are not going down without a fight.
Under a Democrat administration, America would never see accusations like we have seen against top officials like General Flynn or Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
What are their crimes: getting a head start? Working to make America great as soon as possible? Democrat lies are already unraveling, and Trump has shared his complete confidence in his Attorney General in the midst of spies leaking conversations Sessions had with the Russians.
But there has already been some historic fallout, hopefully not an indication of where this train wreck could be headed. From Bloomberg:
Attorney General Jeff Sessions removed himself from investigations of Russian interference with the 2016 election and contacts with associates of President Donald Trump during the campaign amid a growing controversy over his conversations with the Russian ambassador last year.
“I have decided now to recuse myself from any existing or future investigations of any matters related in any way to the campaigns for president of the United States,” Sessions said Thursday during a news conference in Washington.
His announcement left some issues unresolved. Sessions didn’t recuse himself from probes not directly related to last year’s campaigns, a spokeswoman for the attorney general, Sarah Isgur Flores, said after Sessions spoke. She said Sessions will make decisions on any further recusals on a case-by-case basis.
What do you think? Should Sessions (and Trump) have made this move? From the political side, will this attempt to appease his accusers distract them from their attacks, or will it embolden them to go after every Trump cabinet appointment? How will this all end? Let us know in the comments below!
