When Donald Trump first proposed a travel ban, the mainstream media lost its collective mind.
“It’s racist,” they whined. “Trump is Islamophobic!”
Of course, they never actually paid any attention to the proposal itself. Otherwise, they would have realized that it is entirely constitutional and completely not against all Muslims.
Furthermore, they underestimated support for the ban from the American people.
Recent polling shows that the travel ban is extraordinarily popular amongst all voters, and the media has been humiliated in the process.
A clear majority of voters support President Donald Trump’s travel ban on visitors from six predominantly Muslim countries, according to a new POLITICO/Morning Consult poll.
Polling on the travel restrictions has varied wildly since the Trump administration unveiled the first executive order on travel in late January. But after months of litigation and controversy, 6-in-10 voters back the ban — and the survey suggests the actual policy may be more popular when separated from the president.
Won’t you look at that.
See, American citizens actually want to be safe. No matter what the media says, people do not want to be attacked by terrorists.
Americans know that this travel ban is exactly what we need in this country. Too many countries cannot properly vet refugees, and that is why we have experienced numerous preventable terror attacks in the United States and Europe over the past several months.

The mainstream media wants nothing more than to discredit President Trump as a racist. They want to portray his supporters as a “basket of deplorables.”
Unfortunately for them, that basket just got a whole lot bigger. People support the president’s efforts to keep us safe, and the media can do nothing to stop it.
Hopefully, the media will come to its senses and stop its nonsense. We all know, however, that will never happen. As a result, we must stand resolute in our support for the president and his travel ban.
