One of the few weapons the left have against Donald Trump is the Khan family. They are manipulating a grieving mother and father, just to knock a chip in Trump’s campaign.
Their son, Capt. Humayan Khan, was killed during the Iraq War in 2004. The Khan family, propelled by a desperate Democratic party, are trying to criticize Trump’s stance on preventing Muslim immigrants into our country, because they were immigrants.
It’s true, their son died a hero defending our country. But the argument they have against Trump is baseless and insults Capt. Khan’s memory. The reality is we are at war with radical Islamic terror. We need to take strong measures to ensure more Americans won’t die at the hands of Muslims, motivated by ISIS and other groups.
We already lost too many Americans this year along from attacks. We cannot allow anymore. Yet the Democrats and the Khan family seem to be ignoring this. Anything to damage Trump, huh guys? Just ignore the facts, just keep pushing your agenda. Who cares how many more terror attacks will hit US soil?
Corey Lewandowski, former campaign manager of Trump’s, came to his aid in a recent discussion.
From Conservative Tribune:
The Daily Beast reported that former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, who is now a CNN contributor, has come to the defense of his former boss, pointing out that Capt. Khan would still be alive today if Trump had been in charge in 2004.
Lewandowski based his claim on Trump’s repeated statements that he opposed the Iraq War at the beginning and never would have authorized the use of troops.
“If Donald Trump was the president, Capt. Khan would be alive today because he never would have engaged in a war that didn’t directly benefit this country. He’s been very clear about that fact and said, ‘I don’t support Iraq,’ and ‘I don’t support Afghanistan,’” Lewandowski explained.
It’s clear Trump opposed the war since 2003. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton in fact voted to send troops to Iraq. It’s ironic that the Khans are backing the woman who literally signed off on their son’s death and are trying to disgrace the man who would have spared his life.
But that’s politics. It’s not about facts or reality, it’s about what crooked agenda they want to propel.
Let’s all stop listening to the Khan’s baseless arguments. Their son should be remembered with respect and honor, but sometimes the apple does far fall from the tree.
