During last year’s presidential campaign, the clandestine tarmac meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton was among the many black clouds that hung over the Hillary Clinton campaign.
At the time, Clinton was under investigation about that whole email thing. When you’re hubby meets with someone that’s tasked with looking into things under hush-hush circumstances, brows tend to get furrowed.
Nonetheless, Lynch has always insisted that there’s nothing to see here. Watchdog groups are not letting it go that easily, and they’re still trying to figure out what really happened.
The Daily Wire shares one of their latest discoveries.
The infamous meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton in June 2016 just became even more shady now that it’s being reported that Lynch used an email alias when discussing how the department should respond to media inquiries over the matter.
According to The Daily Caller, emails unearthed by Judicial Watch and the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) revealed that Lynch provided instructions to her Department of Justice (DOJ) underlings about how to spin her meeting with the former president under the alias of “Elizabeth Carlisle.”

Alright. So there’s nothing to see here, but the whole department needs to figure out how to respond to the media? And you discuss it while using an alias?
There’s actually a whole lot to see here, but good luck getting the mainstream press to do a deep dive on this one.
The unearthed emails also showed a lack of interest from the media in covering the story, as reporters from The Washington Post and The New York Times both reluctantly covered it – with the Post reporter even stating that he hoped that he could “put it to rest” – and ABC News and a Fox producer thinking that the story wasn’t news.
Lynch has maintained that she and Clinton didn’t talk about Hillary’s email investigation; they only talked about grandchildren. If that was the case, then why did Lynch use an alias to discuss the DOJ response to the story?
That’s an interesting question indeed. There’s a ton more we can add to that, but this story reeks to high heaven as it is.
We’ll keep our fingers crossed that Judicial Watch and the ACLJ continue to press the issue. God only knows what they’ll uncover next.
