More signs that Obama’s administration is simply out of touch with reality. In his closing months as president, he has pushed for un-Constitutional reform, trying to circumvent congressional approval for things like refugee migration, gun control, and transgender bathrooms.
We’ve seen some of his other crones do stupid things as well. John Kerry co-opted a college graduation to spout political nonsense. The first lady did the same thing.
Now we see another henchman in Obama’s gang coming out with some stupid rhetoric of her own.
Via the Washington Times:
Attorney General Loretta Lynch told Florida’s LGBT community that the “most effective” weapon at America’s disposal against Islamic terrorism is “love.”
“To the LGBT community — we stand with you,” President Obama’s attorney general said. “The good in this world far outweighs the evil. Our common humanity transcends our differences, and our most effective response to terror is compassion, it’s unity and it’s love.”
Um, what? Did she say that out loud? Did the attorney general of the United States–someone responsible for prosecuting criminals and terrorists–say that the best way to fight violent, extremists is love?
Did we go back in time? Is it the 1960’s? I’m sorry, I’m just a little confused. When I hear someone say something THAT stupid, I expect them to smell of petiole oil and pot with flowers in their hair. Oh wait, it’s 2016 and the person saying it is an out-of-touch idiot. Got it.
Why the heck would Lynch say this? She should know a thing or two about Islamic terrorism, being as how she’s working within the U.S. government. If that’s the case, she should know that hateful jihadists aren’t deterred by what she calls “love.” They’ll smile at the LGBT community’s naivety, as they continue to mow them down.
What she calls love is stupidity, foolishness, and a false sense of superiority. I’m all for love; love of my neighbor, love of my family and friends. But when there’s a group of religious zealots out to kill Jews, Christians and homosexuals, I’m going to do everything in my power to protect myself. Love doesn’t come into the equation.
If we truly loved each other, we would do everything we could to protect our nation, our neighbors, and the ones most important to us. That sometimes means doing things we don’t like, like learning how to shoot a gun and perhaps using it. It means standing against vile hatred like radical Islam. It means the government doing its damn job to protect Americans.
Loretta Lynch isn’t fit for office. After such foolish remarks, she must step down.
To the LGBT community we say again: the liberals aren’t your friends. They want you to lay down and die. Arm yourselves. Protect the ones you love.
