Hillary Clinton needs to see a doctor: That’s the blunt verdict of the last media figure you’d ever expect.
However, after Clinton’s humiliating fainting spell at a 9/11 memorial event over the weekend, even her “white knights” in the media have to at least look like they’re taking notice.
On NBC’s “Meet the Press” on Sunday, none other than veteran news anchor Tom Brokaw had a lot to say about the embarrassing incident that saw the Democratic presidential hopeful stumbling and being lifted into a waiting vehicle:
“I think that she should go to a hospital, see a neurologist, and get a clean report if it is available to her.
“Just this morning I had a rather detailed message from a Republican who was inside, and he was raising questions as well saying ‘I didn’t know if this is true, but here are the incidents that we are all watching.’ (…)
“I think that she should go to a hospital, see a neurologist, and get a clean report if it is available to her. This is not something that is going to be dealt with at her daughter’s apartment, in the context of where we are.”
Wow! Now that a venerated mainstream newsman like Brokaw has made it acceptable to talk about Hillary’s health in this blunt fashion, let’s see if anyone else in the field of journalism follows suit.
