The Obama administration was plagued by so many scandals that it became virtually impossible to keep track of them all. Each one involved government agencies flagrantly abusing their power.
There was of course Operation Fast and Furious, in which Obama’s Justice Department ran guns to Mexican drug cartels.
Then there was Benghazi, a scandal that led to the deaths of four Americans because Obama’s State Department under Hillary Clinton failed to send aid.
And then was was the IRS Scandal, in which it was revealed that Lois Lerner and her lemmings were targeting conservatives in an attempt to silence them.
Judicial Watch has long sought to uncover more details about the situation, and now that Obama and his corrupt servants are out, they were finally able to obtain new information revealing that the situation was much more complicated than what was initially reported.
From The Daily Wire:
Judicial Watch released 695 pages of new documents showing IRS officials admitted the agency used “inappropriate political labels” to screen conservative organizations, as well as evidence that the IRS offered “expedited consideration” to 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organizations if they agreed “to restrict their alleged political activities” — a tactic Katie Pavlich aptly describes as “bribery” that served to silence the administration’s opponents.
Judicial Watch filed the FOIA lawsuit after the IRS revealed it had located thousands of documents that potentially related to audits of Tea Party and other 501(c)(4) organizations. Hundreds of these documents, Judicial Watch says, were previously “withheld” by the Obama administration from congressional review.
No wonder Obama and Michelle were out frantically campaigning for Hillary Clinton.
Without a fellow Democrat to cover his tracks, Obama knew his house of cards would come crashing down.
Now that the Democrats are out, along with their secrets, there is no reason why Sessions can’t now call for a true investigation. In fact it may even need an Independent Council.
With so much evidence destroyed it might not lead to prosecutions, but it would go far in revealing and weeding out all of the corrupt individuals involved.
Thankfully Trump is set to unveil new tax reform legislation in the coming weeks, which will hopefully overhaul a system riddled with government corruption.
