Subheading: Gorka appeared on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” to discuss his recent smackdowns of members of the mainstream media, and he even shared a new phrase that will make heads explode in the liberal echo chamber.
President Donald Trump has been attacked by the mainstream press in a fashion that we’ve never seen before. That’s not hyperbole, as the treatment that Trump receives from the press is completely unprecedented.
Despite that, members of the Trump administration must still engage with the press and attempt to have meaningful dialogue. That includes making the talk show rounds, and the White House staff member that steps up to the plate is generally greeted with eye rolls and condescension by whoever they have the pleasure of speaking with.
One name has really started to stand out for his ability to stand up to the press. Dr. Sebastian Gorka, deputy assistant to the president, has been going toe-to-toe with various of outlets of late, and he’s well ahead on points for those scoring at home.
Gorka stopped by Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” to discuss his recent dalliances with the mainstream media, and he confirmed that he’s more than up to the task.
“Somebody has to be the president’s pit bull. And I’m ready,” he said. “I’m going to take it to them.”
During recent appearances on both CNN and MSNBC, Gorka has peppered the hosts with facts and directly called them out for the smear campaign against Trump. As Gorka sees it, those outlets have drawn a clear line in the sind, and he’s more than happy to cross over it to get the truth out to the American people.
“Sean, they’ve made a decision. My White House colleague Anderson Raven (ph), he coined the phrase last week, the fake news industrial complex. There’s two ways to be successful in your business, Sean. One way is to go after the ratings with sensationalism, with lies, lies about Tony Scaramucci, lies about what Mueller is going to testify. Just spin, spin, spin so you make more money.”
Gorka has been on quite the roll of late, and he absolutely nailed it with his assessment. CNN and MSNBC’s take on things plays well in the liberal echo chamber, but informed voters can see through the noise and recognize nonsense when they see it.
“Sean, they have a psychological issue. It really is a psychological issue. They cannot believe that the American people chose Donald J. Trump to be president. As a result they’re in this bubble, they’re in this psychological crisis, they’re tanking, so they spin, they spin. They want to make more money on ratings so their corporate owners are happy.”
Here’s to hoping that Gorka continues to make the talk show rounds, as he’s proven to be a huge asset for the Trump administration in this regard.
There’s only so far that spin and hyperbole can go when it’s directly confronted with facts, and Gorka has proven to be quite skilled at exposing the foolishness.
