Good news for everyone that loves not getting killed by terrorists!
Under the Obama administration, the United States was practicing the same disastrous policies that are turning Europe into a war zone. Refugees were flooding our country, with virtually zero vetting processes in place.
But now, thanks to a change in leadership, we can rest a little easier. We’ve just learned that the situation is improving.
From LA Times:
The number of refugees admitted to the United States was cut by nearly half in the first three months of the Trump administration compared with the final three months of the Obama presidency, reflecting the new president’s skepticism toward immigration.
Government statistics released Friday showed that more than 25,000 refugees were permitted to enter and reside in the United States at the end of the Obama administration. In the initial months under President Trump, the number fell to 13,000.
The statistics were released by the Department of Homeland Security, based on information supplied by the State Department.
Countries of origin were largely unchanged. In both periods, two-thirds of the arrivals came from five countries: the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Syria, Iraq, Somalia and Myanmar.
Gee, isn’t it interesting that the countries with the largest number of refugees are the ones with the strongest connections to Islamic terrorism? Maybe the massive number of refugees flooding the U.S. might create a situation where terrorists can slip in, pretending to be victims?
Perhaps a responsible government would address this serious situation, in an effort to protect Americans?
No, it’s because Trump’s a racist!
The liberal media refuses to acknowledge the serious threat posed by just letting in thousands of strangers into our country. They want you to think it’s cruel to deny innocent people entry into our land, provide them free housing and food, and given jobs taken from American citizens.
Meanwhile terrorists and other dangerous people waltz in, with zero vetting.
The fact that those numbers dropped is proof that just a little bit of vetting is enough to drive people away. All those thousands of refugees suddenly decided they are better off in their homeland. Why? Perhaps because if the U.S. looked into their history, they’d find a few very bad connections.
Connections to Islamic terrorist networks, perhaps? Yep.
