Things move fast in the nation’s capital, as whispers can evolve into roars before you know what hit you.
That’s what’s going on with rumors about the status of Attorney General Jeff Sessions right about now.
President Donald Trump has made no secret of the fact that he’s not pleased that Sessions recused himself from the Russia probe, and that’s been enough to kick the rumor mill into overdrive.
It was ramped up even further Monday morning when Trump dropped this post on Twitter.
So why aren't the Committees and investigators, and of course our beleaguered A.G., looking into Crooked Hillarys crimes & Russia relations?

Since that post, the mainstream media has been treating it as a foregone conclusion that Sessions is on the way out. As such, there has been a ton of speculation about who may slide in and replace Sessions.
Conservative Tribune passes along the scuttlebutt on one of the names on the list.
According to Axios, Trump has reportedly floated the idea among his inner White House circle of replacing Sessions with former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, ostensibly to more aggressively investigate and potentially prosecute failed Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and other assorted “swamp” monsters in Washington.
Giuliani is a Trump loyalist that had a huge presence on the campaign trail last year, so it’s easy to see why his name would be on the short list. He declined to be considered for a cabinet position during the transition, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t throw his hat into the ring if the right opportunity presented itself.
That said, Giuliani wouldn’t be the worst person to serve as head of the Justice Department, and his history of being tough on organized crime and corruption would seemingly make him a great fit to go after the alleged crime racket known as the Clinton Foundation, not to mention the various swamp creatures gumming up the works and stymieing Trump’s agenda in Washington.
We’ll echo those sentiments, as Giuliani may possess more of an attack dog mentality that would fit in quite well with the Trump administration.
He’s already demonstrated his loyalty, and you can be certain that’s what Trump will be looking for in spades if he goes shopping for a new AG.
