Most of us will remember how Obama got elected, mostly by blaming the 2008 economic downturn on President Bush.
Someone should make a supercut of every time Obama said “the last eight years” during his campaign speeches. It would run at least an hour long. He was swept into office largely thanks to the discontent many Americans felt over the state of the country, putting the blame on Bush.
Now that the democrats have lost both houses of Congress and the White House, they refuse to acknowledge the reason why. After eight years of the most liberal president in history, our country is far worse off than it was eight years ago. Americans know this, so they voted for real change.
But does Obama recognize this as one of the biggest factors to Donald Trump’s victory? Is he willing to acknowledge that he did not fulfill the promises he made to Americans in 2008 and that we have many problems that need to be corrected?
From Allen B. West:
But never fear, the man who takes responsibility for nothing — even after trying to exert the power of his “pen and phone” over just about everything — has another scapegoat at the ready.
What better way to wallow in his misery than to sit down with the disgraced publisher of the discredited Rolling Stone magazine?…
“And I think that part of it has to do with our inability, our failure, to reach those voters effectively. Part of it is Fox News in every bar and restaurant in big chunks of the country, but part of it is also Democrats not working at a grassroots level, being in there, showing up, making arguments.”
That’s right, Barry. None of what’s happening has anything to do with you. It’s not about anything you’ve said or done. It’s that damn Fox News. It’s all those meanies in “big chunks of the country.” Why, they refuse to walk into a bar or restaurant that’s not playing Fox News! They’re the ones who did this to you.
It’s clear Obama was not ready to be President. He didn’t have the strength of will to lead this country, to make effective, common sense change, and to do right by all Americans. Instead he led this country over the last eight years pandering to certain groups, ignoring most Americans, and allowing globalist, criminals, and terrorists run rampant.
And as his time is office is finally coming to a close, he blames everyone but himself.
This is the legacy of the regressive left. They love to point fingers at all the perceived bad guys in our country, but have zero solutions to solve real problems. They’re great at turning groups into victims, at using emotion to manipulate voters, but lack facts, knowledge, and logic to get anything done.
Perhaps that’s why they lost to spectacularly?
