Former Sen. Ted Cruz, who once seemed to be Donald Trump’s worst enemy, as the two traded barbs and fiery rhetoric on the primary trail to the White House, may now be one of the billionaire businessman’s biggest friends.
That’s because of an astute question the Texas senator posed about NBC regarding the release and public playing of Trump’s past statements regarding women.
As Right Wing News noted: Cruz asked, why wait so long?
Cruz, on Twitter, put it this way: “NBC had tape 11 yrs. Apprentice producer says they have more & worse. So why not release in 2015? In March? Why wait till October? #MSMBias.”
Good question, Mr. Cruz. Good point. And it’s one the broadcast network hasn’t yet answered.
Right Wing News warns the Trump tape of his remarks on women is just the tip of the iceberg and many in the mainstream media are taking part in the hit job against the Republican nominee.
“it is obvious the media has been collecting ammo against Trump for years just for such an occasion like this one. It’s all part of a plan to ensure Hillary Clinton becomes president no matter what,” the news outlet opined. “Obviously, NBC and the Washington Post are in this together. The only reason WaPo beat NBC to it was because attorneys were being consulted.”
The Young Conservatives see similarly.
From the group: “Why sit on the leek for so long? Hmm. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it> Were they ordered by the Clinton camp to not make the audio public?”
Right Wing News also pointed fingers at another source for the ongoing attacks on Trump over past statements he made about women: The GOP.
“Instead of vetting [the] chosen candidate and going with someone who had a clean past,” the news outlet said, “[the GOP] went with the one guy with the most muck to wallow in. Great job guys!”
