More proof that the Democrats are handing the election over to Donald Trump. We know that the litany of scandals surrounding Hillary Clinton and the DNC are enough to sink them for good. Yet, despite all the lying, bullying, and ever-present turmoil, the Democrats aren’t doing anything to improve their image with voters.
In fact, their very policies for the next administration are doing the most damage.
Take Hillary’s VP pick, uninspiring inside man Tim Kaine. It’s clear she just picked a yes man who would bow to her demands. Not the kind of person that would excite young voters and progressives. Now the man is making boasts that will certainly drive more people to Donald Trump.
From The Washington Times:
A new Clinton administration would pursue a bill to legalize illegal immigrants in “the first 100 days” of her tenure, vice presidential candidate Tim Kaine told Spanish-language network Telemundo in an interview Monday, presenting a deep contrast with Republicans.
The Democrats are having a hard time appealing to different voter bases. They will have an especially hard time with Hispanics, after leaked emails revealed just what Dems think of them. So their strategy is an extreme attempt at currying their favor.
No president will be able to grant legalization for illegal immigrants in 100 days. The boast is empty. It only means to manipulate Hispanic voters; though many of them are against illegal immigration in the first place.
Kaine’s assertion that Republicans will be on board is even more idiotic.
Mr. Kaine also predicted that House Republicans, who stopped President Obama’s last bid for legalization in 2013, will reverse themselves next year and said House Speaker Paul D. Ryan will lead the GOP to embrace legalization.
“Paul Ryan and the other leaders of his party are going to understand that if they want a future for their party they are going to have to work together to find a solution to this,” Mr. Kaine told “Noticias Telemundo,” according to a transcript provided by the network.
That’s a pretty weak threat, Kaine. The GOP already has a future in Donald Trump. And that’s a much brighter future that what the Democrats have right now. Embroiled in scandal, with a candidate who’s rapidly losing ground, you better reconsider what future the Democrats have at all.
Especially yours, Mr. Kaine.
