The Trump Tower lobby is overcrowding with political elites, as they hover to talk about their interest in the president-elect’s transition team.
One, for example, whose interest is causing mass confusion because of his and Trump’s intense election season barbing, is Senator Ted Cruz.
However, one long-time voice of conservative reason is defending Cruz.
Rush Limbaugh explained to his millions of listeners on Wednesday that Cruz would make an excellent choice, but not in the role many envisioned:
Ted Cruz was at Trump Tower for five hours meeting with various people, a full hour with Donald Trump, and the word is he’s being seriously considered for attorney general, not the Supreme Court.
I can’t think of anybody better to head over to the Department of Justice and drain that swamp than Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz could get that done in the first hundred days, the honeymoon period. I think that would be just terrific.
Limbaugh cautioned his audience not to be swayed by the latest mainstream media meme, namely, that the Trump transition team is “in chaos.”
He was blunt:
The Trump transition team is not imploding, folks. It is getting set to kick ass.
Trump didn’t like some of Christie’s choices, which included too many lobbyists. So Trump made an executive decision and changed course quickly, exemplifying the kind of leadership Americans voted for.
