Liberals may be criticizing President Trump heavily these days over his time spent golfing, but what they don’t acknowledge is that Trump is also working while he golfs, something former president Obama never did.
Despite facing his first major setback as president with the failure of RyanCare, President Trump is refusing to give up, and remains proactive on dealing with this important issue.
One extremely positive announcement proved that President Trump is taking this issue very seriously. Sen. Rand Paul, a man with whom The Donald has often disagreed, was invited to play golf with the president to discuss healthcare.
From The Blaze:
In comments to the White House press pool upon arriving back at the White House, Paul continued: “We had a great day with the president. Played some golf, and we talked, and we talked about a little bit of health care. I continue to be very optimistic that we are getting closer and closer to an agreement on repealing Obamacare.”
Earlier in the day, Trump took to his personal Twitter account to offer some hope to Republicans left disappointed by last month’s failed health care bill.
“Talks on Repealing and Replacing ObamaCare are, and have been, going on, and will continue until such time as a deal is hopefully struck,” Trump wrote.
With recent news that the White House will be revealing a new Obamacare repeal deal next week, it looks like we are closer than ever to meaningful healthcare reform.
There are too many conservative Republicans who will not accept Paul Ryan’s plan, and their determination to fulfill their promise to their constituents is finally beginning to pay off.
President Trump’s attacks on the Freedom Caucus were met with harsh criticism by conservatives who sided with the group over the establishment wing of the Republican Party, and now Trump appears to be attempting to set things right.
Never doubt the president! He’ll always try to do right by the American people in the end.
