Well, it turns out the new rules are a lot like the old rules—except maybe liberals need to learn how to read.
Donald Trump ran on a campaign promising to rid America of the scourge of illegal immigration, and while he may be willing to compromise on the innocent children that were born here, criminals would not be tolerated.
Even liberals could probably live with that, since it was essentially enforcing our laws just for the worst of the worst.
The murderers, rapists, robbers, and the like. Right?
Well Donald Trump’s deportation deputy, Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, just made a point of clarification that has liberals—and every illegal—shaking in their boots.
He was on Meet the Press and left Chuck Todd’s jaw on the floor:
From Right Wing News:
Previously, illegal immigrants caught committing “minor” crimes like DUIs would not be deported. Kelly said that’s all about to change.
Host Chuck Todd asked what would qualify now for deportation. “Well, someone, as an example, with multiple DUIs,” Kelly responded. “Even a single DUI, depending on other aspects, would get you into the system. [Y]ou have to remember that there’s a system, a legal justice system in place.”
Our favorite quote from General John Kelly’s interview?
“It’s the LAW that deports people.” Our nation has decided who stays and who goes.
And folks who enter our country illegally and endanger the lives of Americans are not welcome.
Innocent Americans are killed every day by idiots driving under the influence, and as minor as the media might try to make it out to be, too many Americans have been killed by drunk-driving illegals.
What do you think? Should there be no tolerance for illegals who break the law, or are there crimes they can commit and still stay here?
To that point, is entering our country illegally a crime that should lead to deportation? Let us know in the comments below!
