Trump Drops A THUNDERBOLT On The Border Wall…Liberals Can’t BELIEVE It!

One of the biggest–perhaps the biggest–promise Trump made during his presidential campaign was to build a great border wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

The terrible state of illegal aliens entering our country requires a strong solution. Trump’s border wall would be a powerful deterrent to prevent criminals, terrorists, and aliens from entering our country illegally.

It would also encourage more people to enter the United States legally, allowing them to follow the rules and keep both nations safe.

Sharp criticism has arisen from democrats, who have benefited politically from our weak border. They claim wall is too impractical to build and much too expensive–even if Mexico ultimately pays for it.

Yet with all their belly-aching, liberals underestimate President Trump’s power to negotiate and get things done on time and under budget.

From Washington Post:

President Trump vowed in a pair of tweets Saturday morning to negotiate the costs of constructing a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border “way down,” after a government analysis estimated the price at a whopping $21.6 billion.

An internal report prepared by the Department of Homeland Security and reviewed by Reuters this past week estimated that the wall would cost $21.6 billion and take 3 ½ years to construct. DHS spokesman David Lapan told The Washington Post on Saturday that the department is still developing cost estimates and that “any such document is deliberative and pre-decisional.”

Reacting to the estimate, Trump tweeted:

“I am reading that the great border WALL will cost more than the government originally thought, but I have not gotten involved in the…design or negotiations yet. When I do, just like with the F-35 FighterJet or the Air Force One Program, price will come WAY DOWN!”

The left has underestimated Trump from the very beginning. They do not realize they aren’t dealing with a typical politician, but an experienced and effective negotiator and job-creator.

The numbers floating around for building the wall are based on the tradition, gross waste that is typical with federal programs. The government is great at wasting millions, even billions, of dollars on basic projects (just look at the $2 billion wasted on Obamacare’s website).

The waste is the result of incompetence, corruption, and plan abuse of the system.

But with Trump at the helm, those kinds of abuses are a thing of the past. The businessman has ample experience in getting projects done, projects that local government fouled up.

The wall will be his biggest construction project to date, not counting his endeavor to rebuild the infrastructure of our country.

Critics will try to undermine him, but it will get done. Just you watch.
