This weekend saw one of the worst events in American history, as a shooter opened fire on a concert in Las Vegas. One eyewitness to the horrific event had some explosive words for the cowards in the NFL, who spent the last few weeks insulting our country.
The tragic shooting cost the lives of over 50 people and wounded many more. In the coming days and weeks, we will probably hear more about what motivated the shooter. Did he do it alone? Was he working with terrorists? Rumors and speculation abound. We might not ever know for sure.
But what we do know is that moments like this reveal the caliber of the American people. While one lone nut tried to end lives, many more behaved like heroes, hoping to save as many lives as they could.
Russel Bleck was at the concert when chaos erupted. His report puts NFL “role models” to shame, when he described the actions of real Americans.
From Conservative Tribune:
According to Fox News, Russel Bleck was one of the thousands of people attending the country music festival on The Strip. He shared his harrowing account of how he managed to escape the “pure chaos and carnage” that was going on all around him.
Bleck suggested the staggering death toll could have been even higher had it not been for the brave efforts of first responders and military veterans at the show. “In a world where everyone’s kneeling, I saw hundreds of people standing up and running towards the danger,” he stated.
He spoke of how people used their bodies as shields for others, coached those around them on how to avoid being a target, guided others to cover and safety, broke down barricades to use as improvised gurneys and even used their fingers to temporarily plug bullet wounds until medical care could arrive on scene…
In a separate interview with NBC’s “Today Show,” Bleck reiterated, “You saw a lot of ex-military just jump into gear. I saw guys plugging bullet holes with their fingers.”
“While everyone else was crouching, police officers (were) standing up at targets, just trying to direct people, tell them where to go,” he continued. “The amount of bravery I saw there, words can’t describe what it was like.”
The very people that are regularly attacked by liberal “activists”—cops and military—were putting their lives at risk to help innocent civilians. Police jumped into action to get people safety. While they told concert goers to get low to avoid fire, they stood up, hoping to draw attention away from others. That meant they would have most likely been shot. They did it anyway.
Others in the crowd helped get people to safety. They told them what to do to avoid harm, putting their military training into action to help others. Bleck even spoke of people trying to stop the bleeding of those who were shot around them.
In times like this, the liberal media will try to make America look like a beacon of evil. They want to shame our Second Amendment, claiming that we are a nation of gun nuts who are itching to harm others. But the truth is much different. We are a nation of good people, who jump into action to help those in need.
Recent months have proved that time and again. From terrible hurricanes to a mass shooting, we’ve seen the caliber of real Americans. And they’re heroes.
Can’t say the same for the NFL.
