The Chick-fil-A restaurant chain has been a target of liberal hatred for years. The Christian-owned company supports conservative (some would call them “common sense”) causes, so naturally their outlets have been the focus of left wing picketing and boycotts.
Unlike many companies faced with those pressures, however, Chick-fil-A continues to stick to its principles. When an elections supervisor decided to hold voter registrations drives at nine Florida Chick-fil-A restaurants, Democrats went berserk:
Susan McGrath, leader of the Stonewall Democrats and head of the Pinellas Democratic Party, said the decision to use Chick-fil-A would be similar to a Democratic supervisor of elections holding the event at Planned Parenthood.
“While some Democrats may occasionally dine at Chick-fil-A (and perhaps even members of the LGBT community), the coordination of Pinellas voter registration activities with this right-leaning business very clearly conveys that your office is targeting Republican-leaning voters,” McGrath wrote to Clark.
That all sounds pretty desperate, and not a little unhinged. Comparing a family eatery to an abortion clinic?
The Democrats like to whine (inaccurately) about Republicans trying to prevent people from voting, then they turn around and complain when voter registration drives are held in locations that everyone in the community is familiar with.
Imagine what it must be like to be this petty and angry all the time.
