Hillary Clinton’s up to her antics again …
The Democratic candidate for president may be under fire for refusing to hold a press conference for the last 273-plus days, but this latest move from her campaign trail takes the cake.
At a recent private fundraiser, Clinton actually provided the opportunity for attendees to ask her a question – so long as they first paid her some cold, hard cash.
The Federalist Papers reports:
For a donation of $2,700, the children (under 16) of donors at an even last month at the Sag Harbor, N.Y., estate of the hedge fund magnate Adam Sender could ask Mrs. Clinton a question. A family photo with Mrs. Clinton cost $10,000, according to attendees.
This wasn’t the only occasion Clinton’s charged for the privilege of asking her policy and political questions.
Mrs. Clinton, who has promised to ‘reshuffle the deck’ in favor of the middle class and portrayed [Republican contender Donald] Trump as an out-of-touch billionaire, has almost exclusively been fielding the concerns of the wealthiest Americans.
At the same time, Clinton has been fighting off “pay to play” allegations from the campaign trail that focus on her secretary of State years and donations to her family’s Clinton Foundation.
