Texas is a big state, and they have a big Texas-sized change about to take place really soon. With the election of Donald Trump, more and more conservatives aren’t afraid to stand up for what they believe.
Radical feminists used to say that if men could get pregnant, abortion would be a religious sacrament.
The twisted irony is, the ones who consider abortion sacred are the feminists themselves. For many Democratic voters, it’s their most important issue, which is very sad.
Of course, ever since Donald Trump got the GOP nomination, Democrats and “reproductive rights” groups have warned that he would try to overturn Roe v. Wade and do other things to undermine access to abortions.
Red State looks at a report from the Texas Tribune, and explains how this news story is being framed to appeal to, and frighten, liberal readers:
In what is likely to be portrayed as an “attack” on “women’s health,” Texas has given noticed to the abortion factory, Planned Parenthood. They’ll no longer receive $3.1 million in Medicaid taxpayer funds.
Red State points out that the article describes a pro-life group as “anti-abortion” and uses other dogwhistle words that make this “news report” more like an op-ed.
The Texas Tribune story also falsely characterizes the undercover videos that emerged this year, showing Planned Parenthood staffers talking ghoulishly about selling the organs of aborted babies. Red State clarifies:
The videos, as we know, did not discuss the use of “fetal tissue for research,” but rather the harvesting of organs of aborted babies that were then sold for profit. Also, Planned Parenthood never got consent from the women who had the abortions to harvest the organs.
It’s unfortunate that so many people still rely on the mainstream media for their news, but at least now there are conservative alternatives that fact check these biased outlets.
