Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has struck a chord of unity with “evangelical Christians of multiple races” in his run for the White House. His integrity and leadership have finally been recognized and in this case it is members of the black Christian community who have offered him their support and prayers.
If Trump means to stand in the way of the plans of Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and George Soros, he is going to need a lot of spiritual support to deal with the tsunami of persecution he will have to endure from the worldly powers of darkness.
Fighting the Clinton campaign machine and the mainstream media is tough enough but dealing with unseen spiritual forces could result in disaster without a cadre of prayer warriors behind him. Enter, the Midwest Vision and Values Pastors Leadership Conference to lead the way.
Trump spoke before the group in Cleveland, on Wednesday:
“I want to thank the African-American community because, I don’t know if you’ve been watching, but the poll numbers are going like a rocket ship,” Trump said. “I fully understand the African-American community has suffered from discrimination.”
“It breaks my heart to see any American left behind or to see a city like Cleveland that has had so many struggles, and that there are many wrongs that still must be made right,” the GOP nominee said.
Pastor Darrell Scott, a co-host of the event, spoke to Trump:
Scott said a “nationally known” pastor, whom he did not identify, had warned Trump “that if you choose to run for president, there’s going to be a concentrated Satanic attack against you.”
“He said there’s going to be a demon, principalities and powers, that are going to war against you on a level that you’ve never seen before, and I’m watching it every day,” Scott said, referring to the opposition Trump’s candidacy has spawned.
The group then said a prayer for Trump led by the pastor’s wife, Belinda:
“Now God, I ask that you would touch this man, Donald J. Trump. Give him the anointing to lead this nation,” she prayed.
The fact that Donald Trump has been able to gain support from such a significant segment of America means there is still hope to turn things around and move away from the disaster of the last eight years. We must keep the momentum going towards a revived America and hope that the moral depression of the last president will be be reversed!
