Of all the things that can be said about Hillary Clinton, the one thing that doesn’t fit is consistent. We’ve known for a long time that she–like many cowardly politicians–flips on key issues.
She voted for the invasion of Iraq in 2002, along with most of Congress. Yet in the coming years she’s backtracked, using the problematic invasion as ammunition against then president Bush. She has since tried to cover up the fact that she voted for the war, sending many young men to their deaths.
As secretary of state, she’s said one thing, then done another. You can’t trust anything that comes out of her mouth. Like most corrupt, insider D.C. politicians, she maintains two positions on every issue, a public and private one. A public one to please the masses, and a private one she intends to enact.
From Allen B West:
The Daily Caller reports, In a private 2013 speech, Hillary Clinton worried about the risk of “jihadists” entering Jordan with “legitimate refugees” because “they can’t possibly vet all those refugees.”
Clinton today wants to increase the amount of Syrian refugees the United States takes in by 55,000 annually. She believes that the U.S. refugee screening process is comprehensive enough to catch potential jihadists trying to enter the country, though FBI Director James Comey has said that the vetting process is severely limited by a lack of available data.
“So I think you’re right to have gone to the places that you visited because there’s a discussion going on now across the region to try to see where there might be common ground to deal with the threat posed by extremism, and particularly with Syria, which has everyone quite worried, Jordan because it’s on their border and they have hundreds of thousands of refugees and they can’t possibly vet all those refugees,” Clinton said before the Jewish United Fund Of Metropolitan Chicago during an October 2013 lunch.
We’ve touched on this before, but it bears repeating—especially since HuffoPo, CNN, and The New York Times refuses to mention it at all.
One of the most crucial issues of our time: refugee migration, is a major sticking point in this campaign. Donald Trump has made his stance very clear: we will not let in migrants or anyone from terrorist-support nations until a strong vetting system is in place.
Hillary on the other hand, claims we have effective vetting and wants to massively increase the number of refugees being brought in, largely due to the fact that she is beholden to Middle Eastern and European donors who want these refugees out of their countries.
It’s clear from this 2013 speech that Hillary knows we can’t properly vet these people. In addition to letting in a flood of very closed-minded religious Muslims, we would be opening the door to terrorists. Yet now she openly claims we can vet them.
She’s doing this because she has to fulfill agreements made to Saudi Arabia and other nations that gave her foundation cash. They think they have the next president in their pocket and one of their demands is to dump their refugees into American. And Hillary would have to do it; she has no choice.
So instead of sticking by her word from 2013, she’s now lying about our vetting process. She’s flipped on the issue because it works for her politically.
That’s not the kind of leadership we need right now. Or ever.
