Now that Obama’s days in office are severely limited, he is trying to preserve his legacy. Yet the most liberal President in the United States will certainly leave this country worse off than it was eight years ago.
Health care is in shambles, immigration is out of control, we have crisis upon crisis in the Middle East, and racial relations are at an all-time low.
There’s very little good to point to that has come out of Obama’s presidency. Perhaps the biggest failure has been in the area of terrorism. After 9-11, President Bush made it the goal of his administration to wipe out terrorism for good. Over the course of his time in office, we never saw another attack made on our soil.
Yet in the last year alone, we’ve seen three terrible attacks in America, not to mention unspeakable acts of terror in Europe.
Yet this is what the President had the audacity to say:
From Red State,
Presidents like to take credit for as much as they can – when the news is good. When it’s bad, they tend to blame somebody else. Barack Obama has spent the last eight years blaming George W. Bush for every problem he has. Today, the White House sent out the following tweet which was a statement made by President Obama:
“Over last 8 years, no foreign terrorist organization has successfully planned and executed an attack on our homeland” —
The level of lawyer-like speak in this tweet reaches epidemic proportions. Only President Obama would have the audacity to say such a thing. Technically, neither Al Qaeda nor ISIS have successfully centrally planned and carried out attacks.
But the President knows this tweet could say, “Over last eight years, there have been plenty of attacks on our homeland inspired by foreign terrorist organizations.
Fort Hood shooting – 13 people dead, 30 injured
Boston Marathon bombing – 3 people dead, 264 injured
Chattanooga shooting – 5 dead including 4 Marines and one Navy Sailor, 2 injured
San Bernardino attack – 14 dead, 22 injured (the bombs did not go off, thankfully)
Orlando Pulse shooting – 49 dead, 53 people wounded
New York and New Jersey bombings – Thankfully nobody was killed or injured
Ohio State – 11 injured with a car ramming and mass stabbing
That’s hardly a track record worth bragging about. Hey Obama, Bush was able to prevent Al Qaeda and ISIS attacks in the U.S. AND prevented home grown terrorists from blowing us up as well!
Obama’s apologetic stance toward Muslim groups and his weak stance on radical Islamic terrorism has lead to this unprecedented amount of violence in our country
His continued efforts to protect and defend Muslims and refusal to properly vet immigrants and their children lead to these attacks. He claimed it was to defend the innocent, but it only empowered the guilty.
Either he was the most naive President in the history of our country, or he was actively trying to aid radical Islamic terrorism. You decide which is worse.
The good news is, we have a President-elect who will truly fight terrorism! One who calls radical Islamic terrorism and Obama’s rhetoric what it is…wrong. Donald Trump has America’s back.
