Anthony Weiner Finally Learns His Fate—And Huma Couldn’t Be Happier

The ex-congressman ruined his political career when he was exposed to have had a proclivity for sending pictures of his genitals to women. For most folks, that would be more than enough of a wake-up call to either change their ways or seek professional help.

Instead, Weiner doubled down on his repulsive habits, and he got caught sexting with a minor. Beyond being a gigantic no-no, it’s unfathomably repulsive and concerning.

The jig is up for Weiner, and maybe now he’ll finally be set straight.

The New York Post reports:

The disgraced ex-congressman broke down crying as he was sentenced to 21 months in prison Monday for convincing a high school student to undress and touch herself via Skype in 2016.

“This was a serious crime. It’s a serious crime that deserves serious punishment,” Manhattan federal judge Denise Cote said as the convicted sext fiend dropped his head into his hand and wept.

Weiner was facing as much as 10 years in the wake of his guilty plea for transferring obscene material to a minor.

While he may be upset that he’s going away for a long time, he should really be thanking his lucky stars that he’s not going away for a much longer stint.

After the courtroom cleared, the one-time mayoral hopeful sat crying silently in his chair alongside his tearful mother.

His father and brother also joined him in the courtroom — but the serial sexter’s soon-to-be-ex-wife Huma Abedin was nowhere to be seen.

In addition to his prison stint, Weiner was also sentenced to pay a $10,000 fine for his crime, participate in sex offender outpatient treatment program and spend three years on supervised release once his sentence is up.

Many jokes have been made at Weiner’s expense, and we can expect that to continue.

However, we won’t join in with the cheap pop crowd. He’s obviously a sick man that’s unable to control himself. He’ll have 21 months to work through that, and we sincerely hope that he comes out as a changed man that no longer poses a threat.

That being said, spare us the tears, Mr. Weiner. You’re getting what you deserve for your perverse actions involving a minor.
