A washed-up Broadway actress “joked” about taking out the President, but one group is making her regret it.

Liberals can say the most horrible things about our President.

Celebrities have portrayed Trump and his many supporters bloody and dead, and insane liberals frequently talk about assassination.

At one time in this country’s history, all of this was considered treasonous behavior.

But now? It’s accepted and even encouraged.

Most recently, a famous Broadway actress joked about someone killing Trump … except the Secret Service didn’t laugh.

“The U.S. Secret Service has launched a formal inquiry after legendary Broadway star Carole Cook joked about President Donald Trump being assassinated over the weekend, according to a new report.

Upon leaving West Hollywood steakhouse Craig’s Sunday evening, TMZ caught up with Carole Cook and her husband Tom Troupe, and asked what she thought about Frozen the Broadway Musical actor Timothy Hughes stealing a ‘Trump 2020’ flag from an audience member the previous week.

‘I didn’t see that,’ Cook told the cameraman.

Asked if a Broadway musical was the proper venue to wave a pro-Trump flag, Carole Cook replied:

“My answer to that is, where’s John Wilkes Booth when you need him?”

How can someone be so morally bankrupt that they’d joke about a president getting killed?

If a conservative actor had said this about Barack Obama, the left would have called for their head. Right?

It becomes more and more obvious every day:

Leftists are petty, ugly children full of hate. They slander conservatives, calling us racist, xenophobic, sexist, and every other name in the book.

These people have become that which they claim to hate: oppressive, violent fascists.

As for Carole Cooke, I doubt the Secret Service will arrest her. But their actions send a very clear message:

No, you cannot so casually talk about murdering the Commander-in-Chief. Not in this country, sweetheart.

The left doesn’t have to like Donald Trump.

But they certainly need to respect him … a fact not one liberal seems able to grasp.
