Thanks to Joe Biden, the cost of bacon is going through the roof. Rising gas prices, along with inflation and an unfixed supply chain are making pork–along with all foods–much more expensive.

But if radical California gets its way, the cost will go up even more. The state passed a ballot measure that imposed new, heavy regulations on the pork industry. It will dramatically increase the cost, not just there but across the country.

Forcing pork producers to follow California standards would give California the power to unfairly impose new costs on the industry and “transform the pork industry nationwide.”

They also argue the California rule will add up to $350 million in new costs for producers and lead to higher consumer prices at a time of elevated inflation.

You really have to wonder what California Democrats are thinking. They must live in a hippie bubble, where they assume everyone is in favor of their extreme, socialist ideas.

And have the cash to actually put up with them!

Biden’s administration has actually taken California to court over a measure that will put heavy burdens on pork producers.

These new rules won’t just hurt Californians, but because companies outside the state will be forced to follow these measures to sell pork to them, it will affect all of us.

California and other blue states have often tried this tactic, to force their will onto the rest of the country.

But it seems like this radical agenda is a bridge too far from Biden–who is desperate for a win just before the midterms.

You can imagine why California is doing this. It isn’t to help pigs or improve conditions for anyone.
