Last night, Joe Biden gave a speech that was supposed to address the “soul of America.” The media promised a rousing message that would unite the country.
That was far from what we got.

Not a great look, as you can see. And people were quick to criticize a man who called his opponents “extremists.”

People are blasting Joe Biden’s speech last night as disturbing and divisive. One commentator said he was “whiplashing” from slandering his opponents to calling for unity.
Inez Stepman said that “those who [dis]agree with his party – are outside the body politic and the bonds of citizenship. A scary speech for a scary time.”
His White House staff deliberately cast the building in dark, ominous red as the old man shouted like Mussolini from the balcony.
Behind him were two Marines, a troubling attempt at showing military dominance against his political rivals.
(Let’s not forget that a few days ago, Biden threatened Second Amendment supporters while evoking the military.)
Critics like Ben Shapiro called this the “most… outrageous” speech they’ve ever heard from a president.
It’s clear what the administration was trying to do. They were giving the liberal media reason to slander Trump supporters and conservatives as “dangerous.”
At the same time, it was a misguided and ill-conceived attempt at intimidating anyone who opposes this failing presidency.
And just weeks before the midterms! What were they thinking? Does the Biden administration really believe this is going to turn the tide in its favor?
All this has done is confirm what Republicans have been saying about him all along.
