Trump has called man-made climate change a “hoax,” and few people realize that even the UN acknowledges there hasn’t been any significant global warming for years.
Liberals, nonetheless, are panicking after Donald Trump’s historic victory, worrying that all their pet causes will be ignored, crushed even, especially concerning the environment.
Regardless, the green movement is still pushing for inefficient, government-subsidized wind and solar power and using ridiculous endangered species regulations to stop much-needed development.
This reaction by Kate Sheppard at the Huffington Post is typical:
Trump didn’t talk about climate policy much at all as a candidate. But what we do know is alarming.
He plans to end all funding on the issue ― for scientific research, developing emission-cutting technology and for helping places that are already dealing with climate impacts. He named prominent climate change denier Myron Ebell of the Competitive Enterprise Institute to lead his transition work at the Environmental Protection Agency and fossil fuel lobbyist Mike McKenna for the Department of Energy. He has said he wants to produce more coal, more oil, and more natural gas. He’ll throw out the Obama administration’s regulations on emissions from power plants. He would likely try to withdraw the country from the global agreement to limit emissions reached in Paris last year.
What she and other environmentalists won’t tell you is that carbon emissions aren’t pollution. We emit carbon every time we exhale. They are, essentially, harmless.
They also don’t want you to hear about the sabotage they engage in to get their way, or that their billion-dollar activist war chests are topped up by George Soros.
Did you know that billionaire Warren Buffet opposes oil pipelines? Because he’s invested in railways, which is how much oil is now transported!
Have you ever noticed this: not even the plants that build solar panels and wind turbines are powered by solar and wind?
All of it is a scam.
And while Trump will stand strong, unswayed by these agendas, we know he will be eager and effective in working with his opponents.
