The truth is slowly trickling out about the Clintons—drip, drip, drip—but as the election nears, it’s becoming a crashing waterfall.
Between Dinesh D’Souza’s Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party, the Wikileaks releases and Hillary’s Secretary of State schedules showing the pay-for-play nature of the State Department’s relationship with the Clinton Foundation, America has a lot to digest in only a month, so it’s hard to keep in perspective.
But this next release, timed perfectly to set the tone going into the fall and the debates, may be the biggest weapon used against Hillary yet. And for once, one major media outlet is not dismisses it as it comes from respected journalist Peter Schweizer.
In the latest episode of the “Powerhouse Politics” podcast, ABC News chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl and ABC News political director Rick Klein interviewed Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large and New York Times bestselling author of Clinton Cash Peter Schweizer.
Karl introduced Schweizer as “the guy who has studied the Clinton Foundation and all it’s tentacles about as closely as anybody … and has done very serious journalism.”
Schweizer explains the nature of the revelations in Clinton Cash as much less about amassing wealth for their comfort but instead using it as the currency of power to buy more and more for themselves. And if things go their way, they will be cashing in for every favor they ever paid for come November for the greatest power that can be wielded on the globe: the Presidency of the United States.
Asked if he’s seen anything new, given the near-daily revelations about the Clintons and their corrupt charity, Schweizer said, “I think what the emails show is what I talked about in Clinton Cash, which is that people around the world — oligarchs in Africa, or in South America, or in Russian — were not just throwing money at the Clinton Foundation out of the kindness of their hearts. They were expecting something in return. And that something in return was access, and I think favors.”
“What the Clinton Foundation did was create a conduit whereby a foreign entity who cannot donate to a campaign, and get access that way, could donate to the Clinton Foundation,” he added.
So the Clintons have been money laundering in the most sophisticated way to avoid US laws that forbid foreign payments toward campaigns and to influence the power of the federal government. The Clintons have been running the State Department like some third-world country, and America is only learning the details now. Such a woman must be kept out of the office she has wanted for so long.
She has been willing to do anything: endure a failed marriage, serve as Secretary of State to the guy who destroyed her in 2008, and hide myriads of pay-for-play scandals. And much more that we can’t quite prove—yet. She must be denied in November if Americans want to maintain their freedoms and not be run by a third-world dictator.
