Will this finally put to rest the conspiracy theory that “the Russians” were the ones who leaked Hillary Clinton’s emails, in an obvious attempt to interfere in the U.S. election?
An expert with irrefutable credentials says the likelihood that Putin & co. are the culprits is very low. It looks like Hillary and the Democrat’s anti-Russian hysteria is baseless yet again.
“George Washington,” a blogger at Zero Hedge, writes:
Today, [Bill Binney,] the NSA executive who created the agency’s mass surveillance program for digital information, who served as the senior technical director within the agency (…) and the NSA’s best-ever analyst and code-breaker, who mapped out the Soviet command-and-control structure before anyone else knew how, and so predicted Soviet invasions before they happened (…) told Washington’s Blog:
“My vote all along has been on an insider passing all these emails to Wikileaks.”
The post continues, naming other experts who point to “Washington insiders” as the source of the leaks:
And the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State under numerous administrations (both Democratic and Republican) Steve Pieczenik said recently that a group of officers from various U.S. intelligence and military agencies have staged a “counter-coup” to save America from corruption, and are the source of the leaked emails.
The post includes a widely discussed video of Pieczenik explaining his theory.
Of course, further investigation is needed before anyone can state definitively who the leaker was, but Putin and the Russians can no longer be considered the key suspects.
