California Dem Just Admitted the Elephant in the Room – Khanna Claims Inflation Was ‘Undeniably’ Caused by Federal Stimulus Checks

What’s Happening:

Joe Biden has tried to dodge blame for our historically high inflation. Yet, at the same time, he championed an “Inflation Reduction Act.”

Really? Is inflation your fault Joe or not? I guess it’s just a mystery how prices are 9% higher today than they were a year ago.

But now, one Democrat admits just where inflation came from.

From Breitbart:

During an interview released on Monday’s edition of the “Fox News Rundown” podcast, Rep. Ro Khanna (D-CA) said that it is “undeniable” that stimulus checks sent out by former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden had an inflationary impact…

Khanna answered, “It’s undeniable that the stimulus checks… anyone would say, of course that had some inflationary impact.”

Democrat congressman Ro Khanna admitted that federal “stimulus” checks had an “inflationary impact.”

But, boy, did he try to spin it to make it sound good. First, he tried to push the blame on Donald Trump.

Under President Trump, the government did hand out relief checks in 2020. But he couldn’t deny that, as the economy was recovering, Biden sent out more checks.

Many pointed out that Biden’s policy of continuing extended unemployment benefits while sending out additional relief checks damaged our economy.

Millions refused to return to the workforce, thanks to Biden’s free money. (Keep in mind, Trump sent out checks while businesses were locked down, forcing people out of work.)

Khanna claimed that Biden’s checks “saved a lot of people from unemployment.” But history says otherwise.

Biden’s continued welfare handouts kept people out of work, while small businesses struggled to reopen.

Old Joe spent over one trillion dollars–flooding the economy with new money. That lowered the value of the dollar at the very worst time, the definition of inflation.

Regardless of how Khanna spins it, he admitted that Biden’s reckless check-writing hurt our economy.

Inflation only got worse, as Biden’s anti-American energy plan resulted in rising gas prices. Gas prices have still failed to return to leaves prior to Biden’s term.

Key Takeaways:

  • California Democrat Ro Khanna admitted stimulus checks contributed to inflation.
  • Biden handed out $1 trillion at the start of his term, along with extended unemployment.
  • Inflation was made worse as Biden’s energy policies triggered a gas price crisis.
